"Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" took the audience by surprise when Naira's character ended in the show, but with Sirat's entry, the audience expected a new twist, and the makers surprised them with it. 
Kartik and Sirat, lovingly called Kasir by their fans, are finally engaged. While everyone is happy about their union, Ranveer was left devastated as he witnessed it first hand. He later meets with an accident and Kartik gets to know about it. He along with Sirat leaves for the hospital.
Sirat is shocked to see Ranveer in that state, and is in a dilemma whether to meet him or not. Meanwhile, his sister also comes to the hospital.
