Suruchi Adarkar: I found the title 'Who Toh Hai Albela' very unique and catchy

Actress Suruchi Adarkar, who plays the role of Kusum Chaudhary in Rajan Shahi’s Who Toh Hai Albela, says that the show stands apart from the rest. The actress adds that the title itself is very different.
“I found the title very unique and catchy. There are very few shows on television that are male-centric so that was interesting,” she says.
Talking about her role, Suruchi says, “I'm playing Kusum Chaudhary, who is the elder sister. A girl who wishes to get married to an NRI. Despite being a stepdaughter, she supports her mother and loves her and her brothers. I haven't played such a character before so as an actor I will get to play a different shade altogether.”

Talking about working with Rajan, Suruchi says, “Working with Rajan Shahi sir and DKP is actually every actor's dream. I'm blessed to be part of this family. My experience is wonderful working here with the entire team.”

The actress adds that she has always focussed on taking up work continuously so that her fans get to see her on-screen. “I feel it's good to maintain the visibility on screen for the audience to remember you. Absolutely relatable characters connect very quickly to the audience. The audiences feel that the characters are people who they see in their everyday life, the people who are around them. A regional connection gives your character a unique recognition. I feel it stands out from the rest of the normal dialects,” she says.
