Rajkummar Rao and Patralekha’s CityLights completes six years!


Recently, Rajkummar Rao and Patralekha completed six months of their marriage and looks like six is a lucky number for the couple! Today, their first film together, CityLights, completes six successful years. 
A remake of the BAFTA nominated British film Metro Manila, the story revolves around a poor farmer from Rajasthan who comes to Mumbai in search of livelihood. CityLights won both, rave reviews from critics and the hearts of the audience. Starring Rajkummar Rao and Patralekha in lead roles, both performances were lauded by critics for their convincing character portrayals. The film’s intense and gripping plot, CityLights brought alive the real struggles of a section of the society.

Produced by Mukesh Bhatt under the banner of Vishesh Films, CityLights was directed by Hansal Mehta.

The Monday episode of Nilanjana Purkayasstha and Herumb Khot's "Chikoo Ki Mummy Durr Kei" saw Chikoo asking Sameer to teach her how to play a piano. She is wondering why he is not calling her beta or Archie, and asks him what her name is, but Pushpa comes there and tells her that she is Archie Khetan.  Just then Nupur knocks on their door. Sonali Jaffar on Tujhse Hai Raabta coming to an end: It was a journey that I am glad we all were a part of

Actors, crew and the producers of the show Sonali Jaffar and Amir Jaffar bid an emotional adieu to the show that did well for the last three years.   “My take away from Tujhse Hai Raabta is that no matter how small a budget you have, no matter whether you are working with relatively newer people, your story will go a long way provided it’s told from the heart. And it’s the performances, presentation and relatable factor that do wonders.
