Brij Kishore Tiwari on being part of Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan: When I heard my character, I was not sure how I will play it
Actor Brij Kishore Tiwari, who is currently seen playing Rameshwar Vashisht in Prateek Sharma's ( Studio LSD) Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan, says that initially he was hesitant. The actor says that he had never played such a role before and didn’t know how he would be accepted.
“When the director and producer told me about this character and said that I'll play the character of Radha's father, at that moment, I felt a little apprehensive because being in the industry for 22 years, I have mostly played negative characters. I have played a police officer, politician, sarpanch, mukhiya of the village or BMC officer. So, when I heard that this character is spiritual and introspective, at that time I thought about how I would be able to do it. The director had faith in me and he said I'll do it really well and I'm really happy playing this character. I'm happy that I'm a gentle father who's world starts with her daughter and ends with her,” he says.
Talking about the title of the show, he says, “When I got to know that our show name is going to be called Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan, I was extremely happy because my daughter's name is Radha. In this serial, too, my daughter's name is Radha ( Neeharika Roy). The emotion which is required in this character came automatically. In Hindu mythology, love starts with Radha Mohan.”
He adds, “Our storyline is unique. The hero of the show ( Shabir Ahluwalia) is already married and he has a daughter named Gungun. He (hero) is considered to be a bad person. My daughter ( Neeharika Roy) is very spiritual. She knows about love only through Bhagavad Gita. Apart from the Bhagavad Gita, her grandmother and her father, she has nothing in her life. She can't think of loving someone. Radha only remembers the time when in her childhood someone gave her Bhagavad Gita which changed her from inside. She really wanted to meet the person who gave her the book and that person is Mohan.”
The show has the backdrop of Vrindavan. “If we want to make a show on Radha Mohan or Radha Krishna then no place is better than Vrindavan. It is naturally beautiful. Radha Krishna's love was grown in that place so no backdrop will look better other than Vrindavan. ” says the actor
Talking about working in Prateek Sharma’s show, he says, “I am loving the experience of shooting with the production house, Studio LSD. I appreciate their efforts to provide us with a stress-free environment on the set. The crew treats us like a family member, says Brij Kishore Tiwari
