Diwali is celebrated by meeting and spending time with near and dear ones. So every evening there is a dinner planned at someone's house. Diwali is auspicious and we do a puja of prabhu ram and bhagwan Hanuman ji to bless us with good health, wealth And happiness. Pandemic-free Diwali is like a dream after two years.

Diwali, to me, has always been a time for celebration and for the family to get together and indulge in the festivities. As a child, I enjoyed playing with crackers and still get a lot of joy watching little children light them up today. Although as I have grown older, I have become less fond of the noisy ones. I seem to prefer the light aspect of it more than the sound. But the best part about Diwali is lighting up the Diyas and placing them inside and outside the homes and the serenity they bring home. We also do Diwali puja which brings a sense of peace to the home as well. I am still not sure what I’ll wear but it’ll definitely be ethnic and colourful. I used to look forward to Diwali as a child because we would savour so many different sweets. But now one is a lot more careful in this regard. Of course, I still end up bingeing on sweets during the week around Diwali.

I love celebrating Diwali. I will be in Mumbai only. On the day of Diwali, we do Laxmi Pooja and a variety of sweets are made at home. It feels nice and positive. On Dhanteras, we buy something auspicious, all of us buy new clothes. In my childhood too, we used to buy new clothes on Diwali and I make sure that I do it with my kid. Also bursting crackers was one of the best things that we did in childhood but now there is awareness because of the rise in pollution so we will avoid this time. We will just burst some noise free crackers. I love wearing kurta and pyjamas so this time I will keep it ethnic. I have never been diet-conscious and it’s festive times so having sweets is a must. I enjoy eating sweets. Wishing you all a very happy Diwali. Be happy and blessed.

This year Diwali is going to be very exciting in comparison to last Diwali, a lot of shopping has to be done, decorations have to be done. But due to shoot time, I am busy, so as much as I can, I will try my best to celebrate Diwali. When we shop in Delhi and go to festivals together, it becomes very difficult to manage both, work and home, but for this Diwali I am super-duper happy, and I don’t mind it at all! Diwali is celebrated because lord Ram has come to Ayodhya after 14 years of exile and the victory of good over evil. Every Diwali of my childhood is amazing, there is no doubt about it. That Diwali with family used to be very different.

Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights and it marks the triumph of good over evil. Since we were unable to celebrate the previous two years, we shall enjoy it extremely well this year. We will visit all our friends and family members. The Diwali starts a week before the actual Diwali and then we do the Lakshmi Pooja and burst firecrackers. We burn low-noise firecrackers because we must protect the environment as well. We all play cards for Shagun later on. My favourite festival is Diwali, which this year is going to be really spectacular, there is positivity and great energy everywhere.

This will be a low key Diwli for me as I have been constantly shooting for the show. So I won't be able to go to Punjab where my family lives. I will celebrate Diwali with my few friends and pamper myself with some delicious food. This Diwali is surely different and not restricted to meeting less no. Of people unlike last 2 years. I pray for everyone's peace and happiness and everyone should celebrate an eco-friendly Diwali.

Diwali Plans are too many, I have lots of work to finish and need to prepare gifts for the team. I will be celebrating Diwali with my family as this is that one time of the year when we all get together and play cards with friends. Yes this time we are pandemic free so the celebrations would be in full swing. Fortunately Mumbai is my hometown so I don’t have to go anywhere. I will visit the Siddhivinayak temple and then we do pooja in the office. Later in the evening we do Laxmi Pooja in the house. Elders of the family give laxmi (money) as a token of prosperity and we take blessings from all our elders. My fondest childhood memories of diwali are are bursting crackers with my friends and eating kaju katli and all kind of sweets

This time Diwali is going to be with my new family, with my husband in Aligarh. It's going to be different and special. We will lit diyas at home and it is all the more special because my series Inspector Avinash is going to be released this Diwali. So I'm quite excited about it. Diwali is a big festival for everyone. People celebrate it with family and friends hoping that there's going to be a fresh start from now. There's so much positivity around. We have Lakshmi Puja at home and prepare different kinds of sweets. The whole country looks so beautiful during Diwali. It's a festival of new beginnings. I believe in an eco-friendly Diwali so I do not burn crackers. I like to celebrate festivals with family, some music and have good food and mithai and compensate the next day by working out

Diwali has always been special for me and it symbolises the victory of light over darkness like good over evil. Diwali has always been a huge part of my childhood. And I have always been mesmerised by the decoration of lights in every house. It used to feel like it was daytime during the night. Every year during the diwali festivities we clean the house, followed by decoration of diyas, lights and flowers. While the best Diwali memories for me involved bursting crackers but I don't do that anymore.
