Karan Veer Mehra on playing Vikrant Desai: I am so happy to get all the love!

Actor Karan Veer Mehra, who is seen as Vikrant Desai in Rajan Shahi’s Woh Toh Hai Albelaa, is glad that people are loving his role. The actor says that he also loves his character.
“Touchwood or as Rajan ji would say, Thu Thu Thu . I am really humbled and filled with gratitude. Thanks to the audience. It is lovely and they enjoy the grey, dark character of Vikrant. I'm really happy to get all the love. Apart from all the layering of him being a psycho, over possessive, over protective, filled with chokingly loving someone, he is a Gujarati doctor; what more complexities can an actor ask for. These are also all the things that scared me and I wondered how I would be able to pull this off. However, I am enjoying all that about Dr Vikrant Desai,” he says.

Talking about the upcoming episodes, Karan says that a lot is about to change. “Well , as all good or bad things have to come to an end and the darkest of nights see the brightest of sunshine, eventually the good will win over the evil. But how and when only the makers know best.”

The actor shares a great rapport with his co-actors Shaheer Shaikh and Hiba Nawab as well as Rajan Shahi. “Oh they are big sweethearts. Shaheer and I both are perpetually pulling Hiba’s leg and having a blast on the set,” he says, adding, “For any actor, it’s a dream to work with the best in the business, and that is Rajan Shahi. I consider myself very lucky to have worked with Rajan sir for the 2nd time. One of the best times I have had is on the sets of DKP.”

Meanwhile, the actor says that he likes to keep his fans informed about his life. “There is actually nothing that I have hidden from anyone. My life has been an open Insta story, reel or post . I am very open and available for my fans, friends and family. More social media interactions have my fans confused. They love to hate me. It’s crazy. The type of messages I am getting, someone wrote ‘I really want to marry an Alpha male like Vikrant but I am also very scared of him’.”
